Gears of War 2 is a sci-fi cover based third person shooter set on the planet Sera, where the Coalition of Gears fight against the locust horde,  weapons include the series famous Lancer, an assault rifle with a chainsaw on the bottom, Gears of War 2 introduced bots into the series allowing you play all the modes both in split-screen or solo vs bots as well as introducing the now series staple Horde mode, allowing you to fight waves of Locust enemies with up to 2 players per console.
